Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th 1964. She was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. The age she is now at is 58. Sandra Kolber was her mother and Gene Kolber was her father. Kolber attended Sandy Run Middle School in Dresher Pennsylvania and is a 1982 graduate of Penn's Upper Dublin High School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts In telecommunications 1986 at the University of Miami. When she was a freshman in college and was offered a position at Dynamic Cable as the Sports Director. Additionally, she worked at Dynamic Cable for a period of two years between 1984 and 1986. Additionally, she was a part of the University of Miami water skiing team at the time. While in New York City, Plaza attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and attended an improv course at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She graduated in 2006 with an education in production of television and film. At age 20 she suffered a stroke that caused an acute expressive aphasia (a problem with the expressive and understanding of language).
